When only the classic of classics will do, play within the requirements with a black raw silk bow tie to add some character. Having said that, we're not sure the Nihilists believe in character - even though it clearly exists within them. What they do believe in is nothing - also tricky when you've essentially got a top ten band name. Uniformity can perhaps lack character and individuality, but with the Nihilist Bow Tie you can find some depth in conformity. This batwing bow was handmade in Canada by people you'd like, and goes especially well with collared shirts and occasional occasions. (Also available in the French Knot bow variety.)
These are self-tie bow ties for the purist, however, they come tied with a clip, and are adjustable for the non-Jedi. Of course, to mix it up you'll need to know/learn how to tie a bow tie. It's easy to learn (thank you YouTube), and worth the 15 minutes, given the number one question people ask bow tie wearers is... 'did you tie that yourself?'
