Before we sold our first piece of handsome, we officially pledged 1% of profits to go to the planet through 1% for the Planet. We were first inspired by reading Patagonia founder's, Yvon Chouinard, book entitled The Responsible Company. Patagonia is a founding member of 1% for the Planet, but there are many more. There are more than 1200 company members from 48 countries who donate 1% of profits to over 3300 different non-profits, totalling over 100 million dollars going back to the earth (and we don't even account for half of that).
